Last Thursday (25th March) Coronation Street actress, Michelle Keegan and other celebrities were up in Ramsbottom to attend the Bellini Spectacular in aid of Breast Cancer Care. Guests arriving at the Italian eaterie were greeted by a red-carpet, welcoming flames and traditional Sicillian music. The black-tie and glitz evening was a huge success – helped by the support of many local local businesses.

Hand-dipped strawberries from the Chocolate Cafe were offered to guests along with a Bellini cocktail as they took their seats for an evening of glamour and entertainment. Paul Pashley, famous for singing at Wayne Rooney’s wedding, sang to a delighted audience as they dined on their 4 course meal. The meal was followed by a fabulous show performed by Miss Joanne Farnell School of Dance. The girls danced on Bellini’s stunning staircase to classics like the Godfather theme, Mambo Italiano and Funiculi Funicular. To spice up the performance, the dancers modeled stunning underwear from local lingerie shop, Boudoir.

In the latter part of the evening, a raffle and auction of a Bellini Cocktail, created by Fanny Gogh, ensured more money was raised for such a worthy cause. Not forgetting of course, the roulette table where guests chanced their luck to win prizes donated by many of Ramsbottom’s local businesses.

Bellini was delighted to raise £2,559 for Breast Cancer Care on this occasion.
