Big Walk Home Sunday 5th September 2010

[ 05/09/2010; 12:00 am to 5:00 pm. ] The Big Walk Home is a walk from Manchester to Ramsbottom partly using the Irwell Sculpture Trail. The walk will start at 10am on Sunday 5th September at a Urbis and will finish at the Shoulder of Mutton. The walk is 16 miles.

Marathon Challenge

[ 27/02/2010; 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. ] To celebrate Rotary's efforts in eliminating POLIO from all but three countries in the world. We will doing a 26 mile marathon but instead of one person doing 26 mil, 26 people will be doing one mile. Starts at the Ramsbottom Urn and goes as far as the Tesco store in Prestwich. There will be a display of Rotary and "End Polio Now" information at the Urn.
