We will doing a 26 mile marathon but instead of one person doing 26 mil, 26 people will be doing one mile. Starts at the Ramsbottom Urn and goes as far as the Tesco store in Prestwich. There will be a display of Rotary and "End Polio Now" information at the Urn.

In June next year Jon Hilton from Harwood will attempt to emulate Michael Palin’s feat of 1988 by circumnavigating the globe in 80 days… but with a couple of minor differences - he will do it exclusively in a Microlight aircraft and in only 79 days! The current World Record for a flight of this type is 80 days. Unlike the current record holders - Indian Airforce pilots he’ll be going solo without the luxury of massive amounts of support.
