Since opening as the Village restaurant almost 25 years ago, Ros Hunter and Chris Johnson’s restaurant has become a local institution – which is nationally recognised for the quality of its food, wine and service
standards.

It’s not cheap to dine there in the evening, but well worth it if you are a foodie with a special occasion to celebrate.

Sunday lunch is traditional, with the most amazing rare roast rib of beef and seriously flumptuous Yorkshire (boo) puddings.

Ramsons is the old English word for wild garlic, so the real name is the wild garlic café!
